Perched atop Richmond’s oldest restaurant is one of Carytown’s newest gems — New York Deli’s Rockaway Beach Rooftop Tiki Lounge. Opened in August 2022 with the incredible support of the Richmond community, our rooftop offers a vibrant tropical escape right in the heart of the city.

Designed with a relaxed tiki-lounge atmosphere, the rooftop features a fully stocked bar, comfortable lounge and dining areas, and a private VIP section perfect for intimate gatherings of 10–15 guests. Guests can enjoy our authentic tiki cocktail menu alongside Polynesian-inspired dishes, all in addition to the classic New York Deli favorites you know and love.

The rooftop is open to the public and also available for private event rentals. Since opening, we’ve proudly hosted events for local businesses, nonprofits, birthday celebrations, bridal showers, and more. We can accommodate a variety of party sizes, styles, and budgets to help bring your vision to life.
